I just finished watching it today and I really like this movie. Many cartoons are trying to shape a new world, but emoji movie has taken a different approach. The world in the movie is not an existence divorced from reality, but in our mobile phones. The people who came up with this idea are really great.
I think the most creative part of the whole story is candy crush, gene is stuck in it, and the princess and high five rescued it by eliminating candy. A game that everyone is familiar with has become an adventure place for emojis, which is really interesting.
One disadvantage of this movie is that the plot is a bit thin or clichéd. Gene wants to work hard to be a meh, and the princess wants to be herself. Gene was moved by the princess during the adventure, and finally chose to stick to herself. The other line is Alex and his favorite girl addie. In fact, the connection between the two antennas was pretty good. Alex finally sent Gene to Addie, which also echoed the theme of insisting on self. Because he had never dared to express his feelings before, he missed the opportunity to confess. But this kind of story is indeed a bit simple, but it may be qualified as an animation.
