N cute points of the movie version of Astro Boy

Yesterday, I watched the new version of "Astro Boy". I had no interest in it at first, but a friend strongly recommended it, saying that it was better than I imagined, and it was touching. My God, a cartoon can be touching, so why not watch it? And the producer is Spielberg. The films that this uncle participated in producing and directing have never let fans down.

I also watched Astro Boy's cartoons when I was a child, but I can't remember the plot. After all, it was in the early 1980s. I was still a child in kindergarten. I can remember the plot of the later "Black Cat Sheriff" and "Flower" "Fairy", "Smart Yixiu", "The Smurfs"... (Hey, count, there are quite a few, you can use ellipses).

I remember every time the opening song was played on TV, I saw a boy with his hair standing up and his arms stretched forward flying in the sky, which reminded me of Superman. I once thought Astro Boy was when Superman was a child. It can be seen how deeply the image of Astro Boy has penetrated into my heart.

In other words, I seriously watched the new version of "Astro Boy" from the beginning to the end. I think this cartoon has gone beyond the scope of children's films, because it has added a lot of adult emotions, and I couldn't help it twice. Tears (but this girl's eye sockets are relatively shallow). While weeping, I also sighed: It's so sad!

In my eyes, the difference between children's films and adult films is that the protagonists of children's films never die, but the protagonists of adult films often die.

I haven't read other people's movie reviews, but I can imagine a lot of scolding. Aren’t Chinese moviegoers the most demanding and critical moviegoers in the world? The more big-budget and big-commercial movies they are, the more they are scolded as useless. There is not a single domestic movie that is not scolded as shit, and the more successful the box office is, the more criticized the movie is. Plot holes, superficial and empty. Are you tired? Enjoy the movie, share the look and feel of the movie, or watch it to write a critique?

This is a bit of a digression, as I personally tend to give positive reviews to the films I've seen, trying not to get involved with film and logic, film and theory, and even if I don't copy what others say. Of course, I still have to criticize Hollywood blockbusters like Clash of Titans.

The classic "Astro Boy" is a childhood memory of the post-70s and 80s. It is a good thing to remake it. The filmmakers invite the global audience to enter another round of collective memories of childhood since "Transformers". I don't think anyone will. Decline the invitation. As for whether you are disappointed or not, it depends on how high your expectations are. Summary: A good cartoon with lots of laughter and tears, a compact plot and cute characters.
