I also watched Astro Boy's cartoons when I was a child, but I can't remember the plot. After all, it was in the early 1980s. I was still a child in kindergarten. I can remember the plot of the later "Black Cat Sheriff" and "Flower" "Fairy", "Smart Yixiu", "The Smurfs"... (Hey, count, there are quite a few, you can use ellipses).

I haven't read other people's movie reviews, but I can imagine a lot of scolding. Aren’t Chinese moviegoers the most demanding and critical moviegoers in the world? The classic "Astro Boy" is a childhood memory of the post-70s and 80s. It is a good thing to remake it. The filmmakers invite the global audience to enter another round of collective memories of childhood since "Transformers". I don't think anyone will. Decline the invitation. As for whether you are disappointed or not, it depends on how high your expectations are. Summary: A good cartoon with lots of laughter and tears, a compact plot and cute characters.
