Those who do not believe in Christ are called infidels. What are infidels? Isn't the mainstream going to be retaliated or even physically eliminated? The laws of Venice serve the Christians in Venice. The blatant partiality of Christians and the disregard of Jewish rights are unacceptable, and there is absolutely no sense of fairness and justice.

Now I can understand the excerpts from the Chinese textbooks and the "incisive" interpretation of the Chinese teacher, which is really disgusting! I have long been prejudiced against Sherlock, which shows how terrible it is to learn to think independently. Now I think about it, why do you think that Jewish merchants are insatiable greed, money-loving, cruel and cunning? Aren't businessmen basically like that? Those who don't love money, those who are blind, those who set small goals, etc., are everywhere. Sherlock is desperate for money. Compared with the businessmen in Little Red Riding Hood who are shameless and desperate for money, I think Sherlock is more virtuous.

How could Sherlock beat the Christians in the rules of the game set by the Christians, to show off Antonio's kindness and thank Antonio for not killing him.

Of course all history is contemporary history, familiar recipes and familiar tastes, aren't we all Sherlock?

What is the relationship between Antonio and Bassanio? When I saw Jeremy Irons' eyes, I suddenly realized Shaye, you love, don't use it casually/w\ to be serious, the reason for the 4 stars is that this movie turned Charlotte's case over, which moved me, he was just a friend to his deceased wife The ordinary old man with the ring of tears, I have never, never understood him as the middle school Chinese textbook tells us.

The Merchant of Venice quotes

  • Shylock: O father Abraham, what these Christians are, whose own hard dealings teaches them suspect the thoughts of others. I pray you, tell me this. If he should break his day, what should I gain by the exaction of the forfeiture? A pound of a man's flesh taken from a man is not so estimable, profitable neither, as flesh of muttons, beefs, or goats. I say, to buy his favour, I extend this friendship. If he will take it, so. If not, adieu. And, for my love, I pray you, wrong me not.

Antonio: Shylock, I will seal unto this bond.

  • Prince of Morocco: Dislike me not for my complexion, the shadowed livery of the burnished sun, to whom I am a neighbour and a near bred. Yallah! Yallah!
