You're all good, although some of Shakespeare's words sound a little weird in the movie. Jeremy's performance is particularly good, and she plays the feeling of crushing Bassanio in every detail~~ The filming shows another feeling. The young Bassanio (Joseph Fiennes) is bent on courting the rich businessman's daughter, Miss Portia. (Lynn Collins) proposes to marry him. For this wish, he must pay three thousand ducats. In desperation, he has to borrow money from the warmhearted businessman Antonio (Jeremy Irons). As it happens, Antonio can only ask Sherlock (Al Pacino), a Jew, to borrow the money because of his business turnover.

Everyone except Sherlock is so disgusting and disgusting! Al's acting is really good! ! Then Bassanio and Antonio are good friends. Why does Portia want this man in the end? I can't watch this movie without Al Pacino, and Samsung will give it to the old man! Shakespeare's classic, but this story is too limited by the times, I don't like it anyway. (90)

There are profound interpretations in the details. The Jewish merchants of AlPacino, in addition to the cruelty, are desperate and unwilling in the religious criticism. The key point is that "The Merchant of Venice" has a foundation

The Merchant of Venice quotes

  • Tubal: Yes, other men have ill luck too. Antonio, as I heard in Genoa...

Shylock: What, what, what? ill luck, ill luck?

Tubal: ...hath an argosy cast away, coming from Tripolis.

Shylock: I thank God! I thank God!
