This is an anime about family and mental health. Ghibli's work always resonates with people. It doesn't matter what age, what experience, what background you are. That's its magic.
My favorite part is when Gina and Marnie dance outside the house. Marnie hummed to herself and looked at Gina with a happy smile. At the end, after knowing Marnie's life experience, I went back and re-watched this episode, which actually made me cry - although I am unfortunate, I have to face the sun!
