Anna and Marnie

Those experiences of abandonment lingered in Anna's subconscious. She thought she was an unwanted child. Although her adoptive parents treated her well, receiving government subsidies made her feel that she was not an ordinary child.

She is introverted, inferior, sensitive, and closed her heart. Her greatest wish is to be an ordinary person and live an ordinary life.

Later, she went to Lai Zi's relative's house for recuperation, which was also her grandmother's hometown. That big mansion attracted Anna, and it seemed that she was familiar with her.

At first I thought Marnie was Anna's imaginary friend and story. I also wondered if this was the hypnotherapy she went to see a psychiatrist and the psychiatrist gave her. It was only later that Marnie's story was found to be true, that Anna appeared in that house, and Anna made it up herself.

In fact, Anna had heard Marnie's stories when she was very young, but she couldn't remember them. Those memories were left in her subconscious, and she remembered those stories when she saw the familiar house.

Before it was revealed that Marnie was Anna's grandmother. The relationship between the two of them, when looking straight, they are sisters who are like siblings, and they are each other's most sincere friends; when looking at it, they are indeed a bit like Lily, [laughing].

Marnie's story is really a sad one. In getting along with Marnie, Anna gradually understands the importance of friendship and forgiveness.

Anna felt how happy she was. She was no longer introverted and inferior, and gradually became more cheerful. She also made a few friends and calmly accepted the love of her adoptive parents. Anna can finally be an ordinary child and live an ordinary life.

Regardless, this movie still made me cry.
