Perfect score for the soundtrack and ending credits, Kajiura Yuki is a god! Her cello arrangements bring the atmosphere to the extreme every time, and the comparison between being abused in Kayo and the warm environment at Satoru's house only deepens this unfortunate feeling. The psychological portrayal can be said to be very good, but there are bugs in the plot. I believe many people have the same feeling.
The previous 9 episodes were all paving the way for the interaction between Satoru and Kadai. The two went from unfamiliar to familiar, to mutual trust and dependence. With such a strong description, Kadai finally became a passerby. I am not saying that it is reasonable for the two of them to be together or fall in love, but the setting of Kadai suddenly leaving the stage in the late stage is too abrupt. Just like a character that you spent a lot of energy describing in the early stage, in the last part of the book you told me that she was useless, so she just disappeared out of thin air. That kind of gap in the heart is too big, and the result of betting all the emotions is nothing.
The interaction with the teacher is also amazing. Crazy revenge after being suddenly found out, no spider silk myth can explain why the teacher lived well during his 15 years of sleep, or did not continue to commit crimes. He is a highly intelligent criminal who can do so many perfect crimes and then easily put the blame on others to play with the entire police and the Ministry of Justice! Why did the IQ suddenly drop so much, and the duel with Wu's rooftop is indescribably weird. Where is the conflict between his wanting to kill Wu but not being able to kill Wu? You can even threaten Wu with the life of another innocent little girl, so that a well-planned person can be persuaded so easily. It feels really weird.
However, with the excellent psychological description, the emotional foreshadowing is really in place. For example, Satoru's interaction with his mother, Kadai's composition and gifts, Airi's persistent desire to trust others, Xian also has to be wise and careful. This is also the biggest motivation for me to read it in one go.
