This film mainly tells the story of the NPC in the game suddenly becoming self-aware, unwilling to repeat the same thing every day and only exists as a background, and begins to pursue freedom.
The AI in the film really has a "life" (embodies self-awareness and will grow) and is a life worthy of respect.
But in fact, their "life" is still according to the set code, it just needs a trigger timing. Just like Guy's code is a girl who has the same hobbies as Millie and likes Millie's type, just needs to meet Millie to trigger this series of codes. In the end, Guy also admitted that he was just a love letter, and suggested Millie to look for his author in reality (still a little moved). Looking at it this way, Guy is still a tool man after all. Humans have to return to the real world.
After watching the movie, you will naturally think of the mapping of the real world. Are we also NPCs to some extent, and are we also running according to the pre-set code, so is the gene our code?
The metaverse is hot in 2021, but I personally don't like the concept of the metaverse very much. I don't like to really escape from the real world. It's okay to escape from the real world occasionally, but I don't want the real world to become a virtual world that everyone indulges in every day in their small living space.
The Chinese pictures in the movie are still at least ten or twenty years ago. If I remember correctly, this movie still attaches great importance to the promotion of the Chinese market, so why don’t you know more about what kind of pictures are used to depict China today? Just right?
