This is my favorite moive ever. I watched it many times and saw many my life in it. Tonight, i just watched again, and realized the part could over. Perhaps I would not watch it again, or felt resonant as before. But I know this is the lucky which you could find some movies or books to against the tragedian life.

The moive told me firstly that the life is hard, suck and miseable as usual. The liberaty could make it better such as the music, the drama, the great books or even the perfect lover etc, but its not made life easier but harder. Because you will sink into the world which the liberal created. The colleage seems to work as the same. Like Mr.Jess said "It make you fell you could do anything and you could be anyone."

I was or is a loser after graduated. The friends around seems much succeed or at least they all happy about their life than I do. They are in the right direction, and I still walking around where I graduated. My life looks like stucked in somewhere without any clue. Therefore I missed my colleage life so much. And I was deeply believed I should be somebody or do few contribution to this world as all the liberal arts told me.

But the truth is as jess told the boy "some day is great, and some day suck but that`s okay. You gonna make it, everything will be alright."

Its too hard for liberal me to accept that the life is actual boring, you are normal as others and the people are disappointed. Find out the one thing which handle the relationship between you and the world , that is the key to have fun.

I guess I have found my thing, and ready to have fun with the world.

Thanks this movie let me aware of my weakness and vulnerability but still feel resonant.

Liberal Arts quotes

  • Jesse Fisher: I think one of the things I loved the most about being here was the feeling that anything was possible. It's just infinite choices ahead of you. You'd get out of school, and anything could happen. And then you do get out, and... life happens, you know'? Decisions get made. And then all those many choices you had in front of you are no longer really there. At a certain point, you just got to go, "Oh, I guess this is new its going down." And there's just something a little depressing about that.

  • Nat: Is your name... Ethan?

    Jesse Fisher: No, why?

Nat: You look like an Ethan to me.

Jesse Fisher: My name's not Ethan.

Nat: How cool would that be, if that was your name and I just, like, knew it?

    [Jesse shrugs]

Nat: Are you a student here?

Jesse Fisher: Uh, no, but thank you for thinking that. You?

Nat: Nah, man. Just here visiting a buddy of mine. It's not a bad place to kill a little time, huh? I'm Nat.

    Jesse Fisher: I'm Jesse.

Nat: Do you hear that music, Ethan?
