So Maggie entrusted Oliver to his neighbor Vincent (Bill Murray), an elegant old man who looked personable. However, the real Vincent was grumpy, drunk like life, indulged in gambling, and even took Oliver to the nightclub with the stripper Daka (Naomi Watts). Oliver witnessed Vincent's various "evil deeds", but interpreted it with a kind of childlike eyesight. Over time, Vincent and the little boy established a solid friendship.
