This film is not only the war of ONE VS ALL, but also the war of MAN VS WOMAN. By the end of the story, it has evolved into a confrontation between the prosecutor and RACHAEL. Men can't bear to be provoked by their own authority. After using all the indiscriminate methods to fail, they finally euphemistically called it "strict law enforcement", and just used private power to achieve the purpose of oppressing RACHAEL. Shit, after all, it's just to prove that no one can challenge their authority, and no one can disobey their orders.
Some people may be curious about what gives RACHAEL so much power. I also doubted when I didn't see the ending. Is it only related to professional ethics, just to keep promises? In fact, perhaps more of her maternal power. In the eyes of her husband RAY, RACHAEL is a selfish mother, and even her son TIMMY will gradually drift away from RACHAEL, but it is the sense of responsibility of being a mother that gives RACHAEL the strength to persist until the end. Sadly, in order to protect another family, in order to protect another child, RACHAEL has to bear the heart-wrenching pain of being separated from his son. Mother and son two lifetimes. But even so, RACHAEL chose to protect another child who had lost his mother.
Maybe it's a little cruel to think this way, but I'm really curious about the prosecutor's face when they find out who the real leaker is.
