Women's independent choice in marriage has always been our pursuit. The film tells a tragic story. In the film, the eldest daughter chose marriage, the second daughter chose oppression, and the third daughter chose death. Only the fourth daughter and the younger daughter finally went to education, giving the audience a hopeful ending. This can't help but make me, as a woman, deeply feel the importance of female self-reliance. When the younger daughter and the fourth sister escaped from the wedding, the car they were riding drove out of the dark tunnel and finally saw the light, it was really a relief.
The language of the shots in this film is rough and real, the language of colors is prominent, and the emotions are mostly suppressed, but in the end, people are suddenly enlightened, and they feel that the happy ending is finally coming. Thoughtful, and not bad for viewing.
