In the eldest sister, the second sister and the third sister, it is more that women obey in desperation and silently bear the shackles brought by tradition. The youngest sister has the most rebellious spirit and ability to act. Most of the surprises are created by her. Gao, the more she wanted to escape, at the end of the film, she fled to Istanbul to find her teacher, broke through successfully and left hope.
In the intense conflict, the girl even paid the price of her life, but this did not change anything, and the shackles remained strong.
The film is rich in tone changes, using different colors to express the girls' emotions. When being reprimanded by the grandmother, the dark gray tone expresses dissatisfaction and protest; when lying on the bed, the bright colors express happiness and beauty.
Photography is mostly hand-held, with more close-up shots, and the slightly shaky images make me feel as if I see the story through my own eyes, and I have a strong sense of substitution.
When the background music is played, there is no dialogue, no story, and more long shots with characters or environments, and the rendering power is extremely strong.
