The Pixar myth continues

It seems that John Lasseter always likes to use a very warm song in the 3/4 of the movie, Toy Story is like this, and Cars is like this. But I can always be instigated by his trick.

This is the best animation I have seen this year, even compared to the dog in charge who won the Oscar last year. Maybe everyone has too high expectations for this animation company that has never missed it. Although this animation is still widely praised, it is much more negative than the previous Pixar animation. There is also a film critic in a well-known newspaper criticizing the racism in Cars. I really hate this kind of critics who overinterpret the film. A commercial animation is also hidden by the director of racist metaphors. It is really for the film critic to think it out.

In terms of technology, Pixar has demonstrated the strong advantages of its technology company's predecessor. The dust, waterfalls and plants are almost indistinguishable from the real ones. The history of Pixar is almost the same as the history of computer graphics. The current president Ed Catmull is a veteran of computer graphics. These technical advantages are unmatched by small animation companies.

In Cars, although John has made many innovations and the storytelling is still smooth and excellent, he feels that he has been finalized and it is difficult to break through his previous storytelling mode. Fortunately, John is still fostering new people most of the time. It is said that Pixar's next animation will be directed by the author of the animated short film Geri's Game. This is the best Pixar animated short film I have ever watched. The director's grasp of the rhythm of the story and the ability to tell the story are very good, and it is worth looking forward to.
