Encountering fairy tales
-watching "ET"

I'm right here.

always runs counter to life in an opposite attitude. When I was young, I hated fairy tales and thought it was a kind of deceit and deceit, so I refused and refused any kind of fairy tales to pass my eyes. Later, I lost my childhood, but began to fall in love with fairy tales out of control, only because of the purity and incompetence of fairy tales. Good people will be rewarded in fairy tales, and evil people will be punished as they deserve. It is so naive and can make people smile quietly.
Huge changes and disasters sometimes make people strong and courageous to face them. But often, when we face the innocence and beauty of the purest blockbuster films, we will become extremely fragile, panic shutting ourselves in blank isolation, and dare not touch the clean beauty with our own hands.

"ET".
A very simple movie, clean but not pale, like a fairy tale scattered in the palm of the hand, so naive that people can't help crying.
I stubbornly think that this is the most outstanding work of the great director Spielberg, although its scenes and special grades are not so spectacular, although its story is not so tortuous and complicated. But it really captured people's hearts in a tangible and extremely "fairy tale" way.

A simple story. There are not too many bizarre and complicated plots. The story is just walking alone in a childish brilliance, walking lightly, like oncoming shallow wind filled with sunlight, and like curved lips.

I don't know how others would describe this story. I call it "the sympathy of two fragile children."
ET, Elijah . Elijah, ET. Two creatures from different planets are so naturally close to each other, knowing each other, like a kind of warm destiny.
ET is such a lonely creature that accidentally broke into the earth's human world, with language barriers and uncomfortable environments, and was hunted everywhere. Elijah seems to be insignificant in the family, no one believes his words, he can only act as a "voluntary temporary worker." Such two children met in an accident called a "miracle", and then gradually approached.
In the messy little room, the little boy pointed to all the small objects and told the potato-like ET beside him: "This is a fish tank, this is peanuts, this is sugar." He gave it a bag full of chocolate beans. It said in a fragile voice: "ET. phone. home." It restored his injured finger. It patted him on the shoulder with its slender fingers.
That is a kind of simple and pure love.
When he had a high fever and was about to faint, the little boy was still begging his brother with a faint voice to find the lost ET. At the moment of dying, in order to let the little boy survive, ET went to death alone, and kept telling him: "Stay. Live. Stay. Live." What is

deep in my memory is when ET died. Its brain waves gradually dropped, and its heartbeat began to stop. Later the doctor said: "The little boy started to return to normal, but the alien was dying." ET exchanged his life for the little boy's life. Willingly, even quietly and contentedly.
Sitting in front of the screen, all of a sudden, couldn't help but burst into tears.
But this is a fairy tale, a fairy tale should always be warm and beautiful.
So the little boy looked at ET's body and said, "I will believe in you all my life. I love you." Then the withered flowers in the pot began to bloom little by little. From the ice bag, there was a fragile gasp of ET.
ET was resurrected, when the little boy shed tears for him.
Sure enough, it was an out-and-out fairy tale. It was as sweet as sugar, and so pure without any impurities. It made people laugh and taste slowly with tears.

Fairy tales are kind. So it chooses kind people as the protagonists, and then gives them a warm ending.
"I'm glad ET can meet you first." A kind-hearted adult said to Elijah.
It turns out that everything is really destined for happiness.
Because Elioa will protect ET, love it, help it, and feel its pain and warmth. Therefore, the fairy tale made ET meet Elio at exactly that moment and place, and met such a clean and colorful pure love.

Because I feel the love and emotions so deeply, the little boy who once said hurt will burst into tears in front of the body of his best friend, and then say, "I will believe in you all my life. I love you."
I discarded all the commotion and rebellion, and only quietly said simple sentences full of love and tears. Love made him know how to cherish and know how to last forever.

Before ET left, he stood beside the beautiful spaceship and hugged Elijah. It's a long, long time. A long hug.
It said to him: "Come."
He said to it: "Stay."
They all wanted each other to stay by their side and never leave. But they are destined to not be able to live in the world where each other lives, and even fairy tales cannot change their inevitable separation.
So in the end ET left alone, taking away only a pot of blooming flowers of Ellioa-it was holding it, so cautiously, as if holding the memory of love on earth.
It touched Elijah's forehead with its shiny fingers and told him: "I'm right here."

They were just the shortest encounter in a fairy tale, but they were memories and tenderness for a lifetime. I think that after more than ten years, Ellioa and ET, who are old, will surely find memories of each other in their minds at a distance of hundreds of thousands of light-years away—they have been living in their minds forever. Simple, beautiful and pure, never getting old or old, never faded.
Although it was just a mutual encounter, it was the best memory and guardianship in this life.

Why are fairy tales always beautiful. Maybe it's because fairy tales are always mixed with love, simple and clear, and they can't be separated.
Love keeps ET alive. In other words, love makes little boys know how to trust and friendship, how to cherish and remember, and how to understand the smile and pain of life.
This is a slightly acidic arc, not hot, but it has real warmth.
People can't bear to watch.

ET's gasp was a fragile and fragmented sound that made people's heart sore uncontrollably. But after the tearing gasp, Elijah always hugged it, looked at it and smiled. So it smiled, smiled peacefully and didn't panic.
It will never panic in an unfamiliar environment again, because it knows that in a corner of that ubiquitous intimidation, there must be a little boy named "Elioa" calling it, Waiting to give him a long hug.
Only in the face of the truest love and innocence can one become calm, reveal the truest side, and be able to laugh quietly or hide his face and cry without panic.
So ET laughed and I cried.

A movie like a fairy tale. The picture is so exquisite and beautiful that people can't even give a hint of surprise.
Elijah rides a bicycle, flying ET in the sky full of stars, the child's surprised expression, the arc of ET's mouth, the large green woods in the night, and the silver moonlight. As gorgeous as heaven, like a flying silvery white, filling everyone’s eyes, like an endless dream in a fairy tale, we stretched out our hands to touch this amazing and inextricable sinking, Always and forever hope that this dream will last forever.

After watching this movie late at night, it was like meeting a fairy tale with a smile. The fairy tale is full of accident, flying, believing, understanding, cherishing, simple, clean, and a kind of pure love.
Only fairy tales can be so beautiful. It's so beautiful that we can't bear to doubt its truth, and can't bear to find the path of happiness and the tipping point of drifting away.
It's like a nightmare.
A nightmare that never wants to be awake, and a lifelong separation that will never come.
