- Michael's son Adam
The day marks the one-year anniversary of the death of Judge Michael's wife.
Son Adam drives to a food store (where his mother was murdered) and leaves his mother's portrait at the door, only to be targeted by local gangsters. In a panic, he had an asthma attack but could not find the nebulizer. Because he was afraid to stop, he had to look for a sprayer while driving and hit a young man on a motorcycle. His shoulder was injured when he was struck by the steering wheel.
Adam tried first aid, even calling 911, but he was unable to speak due to asthma. Later he saw that he was dead and decided to run away. On the way, he threw the dead man's mobile phone into the river and refueled. When he got home, he threw the clothes into the washing machine.

Michael went out for a run as usual. He ran to the door of a black kid's house, looked at the door but left without saying a word. Finally, he ran to his wife's grave and wept.
Michael was on a case where a police officer testified that he saw a black woman hiding drugs in the bathroom. Michael used the structure of the house to refute the police as blatant perjury.

Adam told his father that he had hit and run with his car, and Michael decided to bring Adam to surrender after asking the reason for the incident. He also found a police officer he knew well and said he would report the case. But when he found out that the deceased was the son of the biggest local gang leader, he immediately changed his mind and led the puzzled son out of the police station.
After returning home, Michael roughly cleaned his son's car and threw his son's bloody clothing from the bridge into the river. On the bridge, he met police officers who were questioning him, falsely claiming that he had advanced prostate cancer and had to urinate at any time.

Congressman Charlie is a friend of Michael's. Michael once saved the life of an MP. The congressman is now running for mayor.

Gang leader Jimmy Baxter gave his son Rocco an early birthday present, a motorcycle. The son drove out happily and encountered the aforementioned car accident on the way.
