I feel very uncomfortable after watching it. It can be said that there is some extremely disgusting feeling. It's not that the movie is bad, it's the hypocrisy and the ugliness that it reflects. To use the name of war as an excuse for destruction is really stupid and angry.
The story selection and expression angle of this film are unique, and the cruelty of war is vividly expressed. The story is simple, Denmark left the German youth behind to deal with the landmines laid by the Germans on the Danish coastline. It stands to reason that World War II has ended, but all the time in the movie makes people feel that they are still at war. The attitude of the Danish army towards the German youth is completely like that of the invaders in the war.
The cruelty of war is not only the loss of human life, but also the change of people's hearts. It is true that people hate a country because they wage wars to bring pain. But people hate a country, so they all vent their hatred on the country and its people. Is there a reason for such a generalization of indistinguishable right from wrong?
We see that it is the German youth who are demining, and the war is not their fault, let alone they should not be cast aside, they should not be the object of righteous indignation under the distortion of human nature.
One thing is repeated every day - mine clearance, no one knows when they will die, but they are still full of hope.
Hope is the best medicine for war.
