1. The plot is rigid and not smooth.

2. The shape is not pleasing
to the water horse, except for a few individual expressions that are more pleasing, the other shapes are not cute at all, and even a little scary. If it was such a small animal that I took in to grow up like this, I would rather it plunge into the sea and not look back.
The shape of the little protagonist Angus in the film is also very untypical, not as memorable as Harry Potter, and even less three-dimensional than our little national hero Zhang Ga. Couldn't the director find other children? He got a freckled little boy with a stiff expression and played with the water monster for a long time.
3. Defects can be easily carried
. When he was a child, he plunged his head into a giant garbage can. When the camera panned to the garbage can, the contents were completely eaten up, and it was as clean as if it had been brushed with detergent.
The military exercises of the troops before the war have to bring the mother and son of the household to watch it. Is it a military-civilian party?
It is stated that after the mother was reprimanded because of Angus, she no longer had a good impression of the officer, and then the opposite scene was that the two went to find the child together. Can the editor's own intentions be more justified by adding a cutscene in the middle?
4. There are many character relationships
to be constructed, such as the year-long friendship between Angus and the servant, and the love triangle between the officer, the mother and Lewis, the servant. Every line seems to want to tell a story, but it leaves no trace. It makes people want to go back along this line to chase the plastic back, and there is no whereabouts.
Although the film is old-fashioned, I still burst into tears when Shui Ma classmates dodged one shot after another while carrying the little boy over the iron net. The old-fashioned plot of human relationship and external events is still tried and tested.
Moved but not applauded, all the plot developments were expected but did not exceed expectations.
