A two-line fable that is overly obvious

Consolidating some of my impressions of the Scandinavian region:

A simple and simple white-walled brick house like the one in Babette's Feast;

The elegant and practical decoration of the Swedish character's home is a typical IKEA style;

In my opinion, the Nordic people's geographical advantage and language literacy are their most competitive advantages;

Only in an all-round and prosperous society can he grow into a Kochi with sincere humanistic feelings, who can make charity and humanitarianism as natural as drinking water to sleep, and can react so peacefully to the humiliating violence that happens to him. non-violent super-rational;

The hands-on ability shown by the children when they entertain themselves makes me want to do ZD...

Puzzled:

Why can't the two generations in the movie learn like the middle-class American chatterboxes when dealing with their misunderstandings, and can at least ease a lot of conflicts by communicating more clearly and clearly?

Why doesn't the baba of the young master who speaks terribly good English go to the child psychiatrist who is absolutely professional and approachable and considerate like an old grandmother?

Why would an apparently well-funded and well-staffed Scandinavian school deal so sloppily with discrimination and bullying on campus and play it down?

(OK. I get it. All for the sake of the drama conflict. After all, it's not a documentary film to portray reality and to address real social issues. I'll cut it some slack.)

Stick a quote from Grandpa Roger

...a lack of empathy is at the root of all cruelty. People are not intrinsically evil, ...but some lack the ability to identify with what others are feeling...her method is too foregrounded. The African events in particular don't fit organically into the rest of the film, playing more like a contrived contrast. There are two strong stories here, in Africa and Denmark. Either could have made a film. Intercut in this way, they seem too much like self- conscious parables. No doubt the film's noble intentions appealed to the academy voters, but this seems to me the weakest of this year's five nominees. What does the title suggest? That in a better world there would not be such cruelty? True, no doubt .
