After the excitement, it is more admiration

Many clips of "Suffragettes" made me cry. Some women in London in 1912 had such a consciousness and dared to use one action - jail - re-action, and even sacrifice to awaken society's awareness of women's rights How much courage does it take? ! It's so rare, so admirable!
What makes people sad in the movie is not only the atrocities committed against them by those in power in the male-dominated society, but also the fact that the same female compatriots cast eyes and ridicule on them who are demanding equal rights for all women! It made me cry many times with anger and even excitement...
On the other hand, in China in 2016, all kinds of difficulties for women to find jobs and various moral kidnappings imposed by society... I can only laugh.
Therefore , I admire those who have the courage to resist , and the ancestors who knew why they resisted!

  • Inspector Arthur Steed: The fear is, they won't break, Sir. If one of them dies, we'll have blood on our hands and they'll have their martyr.

Benedict Haughton: That must not happen, or Mrs Pankhurst will have won.
