A documentary disguised as a movie

Everyone is saying that this movie is good, and I despise myself a little bit again.
The first thing I am not satisfied with is why the picture is not widescreen, so I adjusted it for a long time, thinking that the newly bought computer was broken. If the crew has no money, I can understand. If it's purely for the sake of being unconventional and creating a gimmick, I can't bear it. Whether a movie is good or bad has nothing to do with technology. While there is a good content, can't it make the audience's viewing experience a little better?
If it is to explore the art circle of the expression of the film, I will have nothing to say when I wait for the people who eat melons. After all, we are not playing with art. However, you have to take our feelings into account when you want to make our money. For example, in "I'm not Pan Jinlian", if I had to use a circular lens, I almost became cross-eyed.
The second thing I am not satisfied with is that the movie is too long, almost 3 hours, and I have nothing to do in an afternoon, just waiting for the end of the movie. Many popcorn movies are also long, but fast-paced and tight-knit, and don't get cold. "Sweetheart" is a must for driving, walking, and night scenes. Coupled with the top ten pop music on the list, the whole thing is like watching a music MV. To talk about the plot, I'm sorry, I don't remember anything, I only remember 2 boat scenes.
After all, "American Sweetheart" is a movie about youth, nothing more than ignorant love, longing for freedom, confused future and so on. Everyone has experienced youth, but "Sweetheart" is a bit too realistic. There is no intense conflict and no growth of characters. Anyway, he was wandering like this, following every step of the way, wherever he went.
This is a documentary, not a movie.

Star: It was my mom's idea. She said we're all made from stars. From Death Stars.

  • Homeowner: Hey, I don't allow language like that in my house.

Star: [first sales call] Well, I don't live here.
