When I watch it, I always think that even the most miserable life is not so bitter in the illusion simulated by the small town residents in the old mining area. If they came to a small village in Northeast China in the 1950s, what would it be? What is it like?
I have always liked the feeling of a European town, clean, laid back and friendly.
A life that is as cordial and carefree as two people get drunk on the way to deliver letters.
Small towns in China are always messy, once kind, but not anymore.
So people are crowded into cities, metropolises, Beijing and Shanghai.
Looking at the street full of ants-like mediocre people, I hate Shanghai very much.
