Sorrendino's films will never be easy for the audience to understand, but they can't help but be attracted and "hard" to watch. Because his aesthetics embodied in photography, framing, characterization, language, music, etc. are really beautiful and profound. This kind of film is no longer just entertainment, because for me, in the process of watching, there have been countless moments when I was touched by some of the "human problems" they discussed, and I was confused by such a rich set of characters. Get some different inspiration for your perspective on things.
Looking forward to the second season.
