American uncle fights urban management against demolition

I haven't seen the 2004 version, and I haven't read the plot introduction beforehand. For someone like me who rarely goes to the cinema, especially parkour, this movie is okay. It was a pity to learn that the male protagonist had died, and I felt that this film was worth watching.
At the beginning of the movie, I told my husband that this movie is about demolition. Later, the development of the plot proved me wrong, but I always felt that the plan to blow up the slums was exactly the same as the Chinese-style demolition. The actor who plays the mayor looks a lot like a bean? Since he wants to carry out violent demolitions, then call him the American city management. The uncles fought against the forced demolition, and their heroism was no less than that of China's nail households.
For me, the highlight of this movie is not in itself, but in the first movie that my husband and I saw in the cinema. It's been three and a half years since we walked into a movie theater for the first time. mark it!

It was playing on the plane~ So I looked at it, the editing sequence, the scene props, and the storyboards ˊ_>ˋ are identical in several places, which is also quite a fight, this remake is really a remake, and one of the male protagonists is still the same actor ˊ_>ˋ so I don't know the meaning of existence
