A very old-fashioned typical sensational film, let me talk about some points that I am more impressed with. 1. The plot is old-fashioned and dramatic, and it is too ideal. Everyone's empathy is abnormally high, and everyone does their best to help the protagonist. The plot even feels a little Mary Sue. The truth is that the lieutenant didn't want to know the truth, he only had to be responsible for his daughter's death. But the most surprising thing to me is that everyone, including the warden, cares a lot about this truth, and risking offending the officer, risking losing their jobs and even their lives, everyone is kind and compassionate. The world presented is idealistic, with real feelings everywhere, which makes people feel unreal. This is not the case in the real world, and it may be unwilling to admit it, but human nature is indeed dark, and the film may just express an expectation. 2. The plot is unreasonable. The legal system and the prison system in the play are very abnormal. How easy it is to bring a living person into a prison, it's already the 90s, I don't know about Turkish prisons, but it's still ridiculous. 3. Excessive sensationalism. This is the most direct feeling I have after watching the whole film. At the beginning, there is a close-up of the heroine's face and a piece of sad music. The audience starts to stir up emotions without knowing anything. The close-up of the heroine's ubiquitous big face, the close-up of the heroine's big face when she meets her father, the close-up of the heroine's big face when she is with her grandmother, and the close-up of her big face when she is with the teacher. The little girl in the plot is indeed very sympathetic, but the way of performance is too deliberate.
4. I have to mention that this bgm hummed by the human voice makes me feel very familiar as soon as it sings. When I think about it carefully, it is very similar to the sensational scenes in ancient costume romance TV dramas. This bgm has been used many times and the insertion is very stiff. This positive example is "Titanic" (of course the cost is not the same and there is no comparison)
Overall, I personally feel that this movie is below my expectations.
I haven't read the Korean version, so I wrote my own opinion on the local version. After picking a bunch of thorns, I can't write down any advantages, and I may be more impressed by the disadvantages. I have seen too many good movies in the past few years, and the threshold is getting higher and higher, and it is difficult to have any works that can stimulate me.
Aside from these, the friends who watched the movie together were moved to tears. She watched it very satisfied. As a sensational movie, it can impress the audience, which is almost the same.
