Driving for Miss Daisy

The story takes place in Georgia, USA in the 1940s. It spans more than 30 years. It tells the warmth of a Jewish old man and her black driver. Daisy was a Jewish widow, but the old man in her seventies was in good health and had a strained relationship with her daughter-in-law. It took a lot of trouble for her son Bailey to be caught in the middle. The old man is diligent and thrifty, and he brings some of the old lady's unique stinginess and stubbornness, which makes Hawke quite uncomfortable when he is just on duty. The old Hawk, played by Morgan Freeman, is kind and loyal, and his hoarse and somewhat mischievous voice complements the slightly raised corners of his mouth, and the traces of time are all over the body. From disappointment to attachment to becoming closest friends, the two quietly changed and the pace was slow. The sparse sunset in the south travels through the lush air of the shade of the trees, the cold and the heat change the seasons, the times change, the old people pass away one by one, the white hair on the temples, everything is silent, as if life has stagnated when life is twilight, only by the side Things are moving. An old man is slowly dying away. All her flowers, clothing, and house that once belonged to her will eliminate her breath. This is the saddest thing in the world. At this time of sadness, true feelings were poured into it, and the emotions naturally flowed out. When a person has gone through his/her rough life, when the children are independent and the partner dies first, what is left? The wrinkled skin and vague words faintly exude the smell of death, making people terrified. The film has given us many beautiful things. Finally, Hawk fed Daisy an apple pie with a trembling hand. The old man swallowed hard and ate slowly. "Is it delicious?" "Hmm..." Simple words can make people feel sad and moved inexplicably. "A Jewish woman and a dark old ghost", this is the line of a state policeman in the film. Although it is contemptuous and mean, it tells the relationship between the two old people from the other side: mutual support. There are only two places where the two old people reminisce about the past together. One is Daisy's recollection of attending her brother's wedding at the age of 12, and the other is Hawke's story of the tragic death of her friend's father at the age of 10. Imagine a 12-year-old white girl who was timid. Touching the sea, a 10-year-old black boy panicked at the hanging corpse, but when they were aging, they came together to rely on each other wonderfully. No matter what kind of prime years you have, when you are old and find you alone, someone appears to help you drive it away. No matter who this person is, he is destined to be the closest in your life. Carve the saddest sunset into the most beautiful scenery. Human affection, friendship, and understanding-the most shining things in human nature that can drive away the darkness, should be praised in summer.
