This film is suitable for activists with an IQ below 80 who have lost their jobs or property during the economic crisis

As a graduate with a major in economics, looking at the English subtitles I don't understand, I secretly thought that this film is full of extreme paranoia, out of context, gossip and countless shameless little tricks. The economic crisis exposed many problems with the American government and the capitalist system, but it was a far cry from what was depicted in this film.

If you change the political stance, the expression of this film is no different from the model show - those who are different are clowns, those who are the same are heroes, and those who are exploited are the ignorance of the people (in a certain sense, each of us has a fool place), trying to incite those who oppose me to become those who obey me, and those who obey me destroy those who oppose me. It's hard for me to see other than to see what else he's trying to do.

I am afraid that Obama himself will laugh and cry when he sees it. He accidentally became a socialist, or even the acquiescence of the insurgent army.

Too strong and too extreme a political slant is bound to make a movie laughable; whether he stands by the rich or the poor, Mike Moore is probably only a third-rate director.

The worker has become a national symbol! In this system, capitalism is a sin as long as the few enjoy happiness and the many sacrifice. You cannot control evil, you have to eliminate it and find something to replace it, which is a good thing for the people. This is called democracy. ---- Mike Moore

Every time I watch a movie of Mike Moore, the first sentence that comes to my mind is always "the Chinese people are full of cows at this moment."

Capitalism: A Love Story quotes

  • Michael Moore: You know, I can't really do this anymore, unless those of you who are watching this in the theater want to join me. I hope you will. And please... speed it up.

  • Michael Moore: [Regarding the February, 2009 crash of Continental flight 3407 in Buffalo, New York] No one survived the crash, and 50 people lost their lives. The Media focused on the actions of the pilots.

Continental air crash reporter: Capt. Marvin Renslow and First Officer Shaw were chatting about their careers.

Michael Moore: "Careers" is a euphemism for what the pilots were really talking about: how little they were paid, and how overworked they were. There would be no discussion in the Media about why we have an economic system that allows a pilot to be paid less than a manager at Taco Bell.
