Head-to-head, black eat black

It's the weekend, Amway has a simple and violent American drama for everyone-"Banshee (Banshee)". Hmm... Since the content of this play is not suitable for minors or people with weakened minds, please decide whether to continue reading.

The original title of the play was "Banshee", which was the name of an American rural town and the stage where the story took place. Banshee has a small population and is dominated by agriculture. There are also Indian reservations for tribal assets and Amish communities that focus on hand-farming. People's lives are easy and simple. The government is close to the people and clean. The mayor is a handsome boy in his twenties. The police station does not even have its own office building. It borrows a bankrupt Cadillac 4s shop to work. There is only one sheriff and three police officers. It's such a small and fresh place. Is this a short country drama for parents?

Nonono, the big characters in the title directly tell the theme of the show: "Yellow Storm". The producer Cinamax is well known for broadcasting violent and adult shows.

drama. The brief introduction
story takes place in Banshee, Pennsylvania. Lucas, a master fraud master and flying thief (played by Antony Starr), who had been in jail, got the status of Sheriff Banshee and replaced him as a local law enforcement officer. By. Brock (Matt Servitto), the police officer who has served the longest time in the town, had hoped to become a sheriff, and the arrival of Lucas threatened his status. Lucas discovered that his former lover Carrie (Ivana Milicevic) changed her name to live in a small town and married a local prosecutor. On the one hand, Lucas uses his new legal identity to continue to commit crimes secretly. On the other hand, Mr. Rabbit (Ben Cross, a member of the Ukrainian gangster who is cold-blooded by the mob), has been tracking the whereabouts of Lucas and Carrie for 15 years. But everything became different after Lucas entered Banshee Town...

After watching 3 seasons, let me talk about the reason for Amway's drama.

1 The strong contrast between the background and the plot. Performing a crime scene in a calm town is like finding that a pure beauty is actually a killer with a delicate face.

2 Compact rhythm and smooth editing. There is almost no role of "emotional twisting" and "being a dead-end teammate" in this film. The emotional line is restrained to the end, and the memories are bright and clear. Use camera switching to expand a multi-line plot at the same time. Every episode uses a lot of lens switching, like stop-motion photography, which is interlocking, allowing you to keep your concentration throughout the whole process and feel the smoothness of the journey to the end.

3 Direct and refreshing style. Starting from the first season, every episode basically has scenes of melee or gunfight. He is professional in tactics. Things that can be solved with fists and guns are by no means much ink. Even when he executed a big boss (such as a big Indian) with a gun, he didn't let him finish a sentence. The scene design and completion degree surpassed most Hollywood blockbusters.

4. The background of multicultural conflicts. On Banshee, there are Amish, Uindian tribes, neo-Nazis, and blacks. In nearby Philadelphia, there are Armenian gangs, and New York has the Ukrainian gangs to which boss Rabiit belongs. It is a microcosm of American society. There is endless conflict and hatred between these communities. Not to mention that the main characters are robbers, thieves, hackers, transvestites, police, boxers, underworld, criminals, soldiers... No matter how bad they are, they are still a gangster who doesn't go to school. Under their mingling, there is no peace in this small town.

5. Strong "Hardcore" style. There is hardly any counseling in the whole play, even small gangsters have to be stiff to death. The "yellow violence" that stimulates male hormones runs through the entire drama. After watching the first two seasons, I learned that each episode on Tencent Video is about 10 minutes shorter than the original. The content of each episode of a TV series is more than that of a movie.

6. This is a drama that faces life directly. There is no clear distinction between good and evil in the play, only their respective standpoints. Like a warrior who rushed forward, he never thought of evading pity and resentment, but would only brave the challenges that followed fearlessly.

If you are a bit unhappy or frustrated recently, I recommend you to take a look to stimulate your blood.
