Reminds me of the detention and repatriation in our country. .

The world is not enough for one to be free to pursue the life he wants, and innate distinctions define a person and everything about him. This distinction is ubiquitous. The seemingly polite responses of whites are actually recognition of their own cultural superiority. Other races who are the same in the eyes of whites are also comparing skin color and economics.
There was a classmate whose family was living abroad. His father was sentenced to life imprisonment for being framed and implicated in the murder. The mother and son had no ability to change the result, and were deported back to China and never allowed to enter the country. Since then, the world is separated, and the living are like dead. This cruelty is actually the helplessness of fate. There are many grandfathers of lawyers who raised their children for 23 years and were sent back to China.
In the past, my country also had custody and repatriation. In order to avoid population movement, people who did not have an ID card on the street were arrested and sent back to their original places. Even if this is now abolished, disguised repatriation still exists. It is ironic that society does not allow people to make their own choices like rational people advocated by a free economy, and countries that advocate absolute freedom do not allow such freedom to happen.

Tarek Khalil: We're staying in his apartment. What could I do?

Zainab: And I'll be stuck with him while you play your drum.

Tarek Khalil: You know you're very sexy when you're mad at me.

    [leans in to kiss her]

Prof. Walter Vale: [interrupts] Hello! If you don't mind, I think I will come.

    Tarek Khalil: Cool.

Prof. Walter Vale: Let me get my coat.

    [Zainab frustrates]

  • Prof. Walter Vale: I've been teaching the same course for 20 years, and it doesn't mean anything to me. None of it does. I pretend. I pretend that I'm busy, that I'm working, that I'm writing. I'm not doing anything.
