After watching the movie "Togo", I searched again for the prototype of the story. This is a real thing that happened in Nome, Alaska in 1925. 20 sled drivers and 150 sled dogs relay 1,085 kilometers to transport serum, and the film focuses on Togo because their journey is the farthest and most dangerous.
Erha, who does not have a pure sled dog blood, has another illness, and was disliked by Sepala from the beginning and gave it away a second time. But Togo managed to "escape" time and time again and run to Sepala's sled team. It is this dog that is least favored, but has a strong will to guide it to create extraordinary. (Who would have thought that Erha could be like this, the image of the house being demolished in his mind)
The film uses both reality and memory to shape Togo's experience. At the age of 12, it took Seppara across snowstorms and icy lakes, and the courage, loyalty and belief are higher than imagined. Every frame of the film is so touching.
Togo proved himself in ten years, accomplished miracles in twelve years, and lived his life in sixteen years.
And lastly, Sepala's line, it wasn't made for the sled, it was made for me, it really brought tears to my eyes. Yes, it identifies you, so it runs for you all its life.
It is a natural leader, but it is also your most loyal guardian.
