I don't understand why someone would hurt a dog

Togo is a recommended movie clip that I saw when I was shopping on a certain music. There were three episodes in total, one was when I was a child, one was after I was accepted by Sepala, and the other was when they crossed the ice. I have a dog, I like small animals very much. I have seen a lot of movies about dogs (but I can’t remember the names), so I like this type of movie very much, so I watched the full version. wow???

"Togo" was filmed using real animal "actors", and its "performance" was perfect. It is based entirely on stories that actually happened in history. Its legendary color is far more intense and exciting than the background of the family emotional drama.

About a century ago, in 1925, there was a sudden outbreak of diphtheria in the small town of Nome, Alaska. The disease, now virtually eliminated through vaccination, was a deadly killer in those days, especially among children. The closest state hospital in Nome, where life-saving diphtheria serum is stocked, is 955 miles (1,085 kilometers) away. At that time, it was in the cold winter, and the mountains were blocked by heavy snow, and the traffic was closed. In order to get the serum and save the sick children, the local government had to choose to use a dog sled to transport the serum to the hospital. A relay team of 20 sled drivers and 150 sled dogs was formed in the local area and went to a hospital more than 1,000 kilometers away to carry out this life-saving mission. In the end, it only took them five and a half days to complete the relay of the race against the god of death, successfully transporting the serum back, saving the lives of the children. Under normal circumstances, this trip dog sledding takes 25 days. The protagonist of the film, Togo, is a lead dog used by one of the sled drivers, Leonhard Seppala, as their sled team undertakes the hardest part of this life-saving feat. Also the most dangerous part of the journey. In extremely cold conditions of minus 30 degrees and strong winds above 7, they completed the run of 264 miles (425 kilometers), while the other 19 teams carried an average of 31 miles (50 kilometers). However, for various reasons, this legendary sled dog and its story were forgotten by history. Until 2011, the US "Times" re-reported the story. In the report, they hailed Togo as the most heroic animal of the 20th century

Togo who carried out the mission was 12 years old at the time, which is very old for a dog. Sepala's wife was initially reluctant to take part in the adventure, fearing that it would never return. But Togo's experience and ability are irreplaceable, and Sepala has to bring it with him. Before the last leg of the journey, while resting overnight in an Eskimo home, the hostess could not help crying while holding the sleeping Togo, saying that its life was dying. This was the scene where Sepala wanted Togo to rest the next day, but Togo insisted on continuing to run. This part of the journey is still difficult, the wind and snow are too heavy to identify the direction, Separa gave all the trust to Togo. Togo became not only his legs, but also his eyes. When Sepala, who had fallen asleep on the sled, woke up, he found that the entire team had collapsed on the snow, including Togo, who had passed out from exhaustion. Fortunately, the next relay team arrived and finally delivered the serum to the town. Togo, however, was exhausted and seemed to have exhausted the last of its vitality. When a rescued child came to visit Togo after recovering, she asked innocently if Togo was dying. Sepala heard that she couldn't help herself, and ran out of the house alone. (At that time, I also died because of Togo) But I didn't expect that Togo had gone through such hardships, and it still survived with its extremely tenacious vitality. Togo lived with Sepala and his wife for three more years, and reproduced offspring, and thus gave birth to the breed of Siberian Sepala, which was later famous for its intelligence, endurance, and courage. Sepala recalled in his later years: "I have never had a better dog than Togo. His endurance, loyalty and intelligence were all the best. Togo was the best dog ever to cross the Alaska Trail."

As a dog lover, I can understand the trust and deep feelings between dogs and people in the film. In particular, sled dogs, as working dogs, need to get along and interact with people for a long time, so it is more important to trust each other with people, so as to ensure the smooth completion of tasks in no matter how harsh the environment. In the legend of man and dog, Togo is a blood warrior who overcomes difficulties and obstacles.

Every time I watch such a warm movie, I see the beautiful qualities in common among different dogs.
