How important is a democracy with constitutional review

This film is basically a portrayal of Hitler's successful rise to power. Before he came to power, he did not reveal the specific plan of ethnic cleansing to be implemented after he came to power. He spoke like a slogan. As long as he catered to everyone's inner selfish interests, he would be supported. If you don’t like cooking shows, I will scold them. If you don’t like immigration, I will agree. Everyone feels that it speaks to their hearts. He will not directly say that his plan includes killing every Jew, because normal human nature still rejects direct killing, but he will cater to your every little selfish desire, agree with it, support it, and use it . The little reporter in the film was initially used by Hitler out of selfish small interests. The reporter laughed at Hitler's various racist remarks and dismissed it. Although everyone shouts and beats racism nowadays, you may not be aware of it when it really happens. How serious, when he really realized what would happen once Hitler came to power, he was out of control. The situation depicted in this story is not far from us. It is entirely possible that there is a madman like Hitler in this world.

This film is another reminder of how important it is to establish a democratic system with constitutional review. Democracy does not guarantee that everyone has a normal three views, maybe I will support the Jewish eradication plan because the annoying neighbor next door is a Jew. The weakness of human nature is selfishness and narrow-mindedness. It is easy for people to realize their rights. But it is difficult to understand the rights of others and the equality of others and themselves. Democracy cannot guarantee that one group of people will not vote to murder another group of people out of selfish interests, but democracy with constitutional review is different.

Some rules are at the bottom of the entire framework, like a solid foundation, which must be followed as a civilized human being. Some rules that have been strictly debated must be placed in this bottom layer, and they are absolutely insurmountable like the foundation. For example: killing, Racial discrimination, etc., must be seriously put into this foundation. This foundation must be built carefully and solemnly, because it is the cornerstone of civilized society, the foundation for entering civilization and freeing from barbarism. Once established, it is insurmountable and guaranteed by law. Humanity will never be able to completely cleanse each of us from our own selfishness and narrow-mindedness, nor can we conduct ideological censorship on everyone. Even if technology can do it, a person can still be a dirty, selfish racist at heart, but the law is destined not to. Some behavior, unconstitutional review is destined to prevent absurd ethnic cleansing.

Germany has been reflecting on World War II for many years, but there are still neo-Nazis around the world. For example, racial discrimination is no longer limited to races, but between groups, locals discriminate against foreigners, bisexuals discriminate against homosexuals, and so on. So don't think that racial discrimination has died out, the disaster of human beings is not far away from us, and human beings have not really entered a state of civilization. Also think about how terrifying the future of a country that has never reflected on past movements and has been preventing real history from being known will be regressed.
