He started to prepare his new movie, but before the start of shooting, the script did not come out, he had no inspiration, and the agent forced him to go down under the drive of profit. His wife, who visited by chance, and accidentally met his lover, made the life that was about to be dull again. The lover visits enthusiastically, but the encounter with his wife makes Guido decide to end the relationship, which also causes the lover to collapse. While alone, Guido sees his mother again in an apparition, and he can only tell his mother about his current predicament, but her mother tells him to move forward. In this way, Guido is caught between work and life, and the pressure is huge, one can imagine. When he was about to collapse, his conversation with his deceased mother reminded me of the heroine in "A Beautiful Mind" who is also a crazy mathematician. He also solved many problems through his own calculations, but later found out that he had hallucinations , like Guido. It makes people feel even a little scared, what will these people who are not separated from reality do?
Based on Guido's psychological changes, the story is interspersed with two lines, one is reality, one is fantasy, one is black, white and gray, and the other is colorful. Probably due to cultural differences, this montage-style technique and this jumping thinking made me unable to fully understand the content of this film. But thinking about it again, the method of "If Love" is exactly the same as this. This is this kind of jump, which shows the struggle and entanglement of the characters' psychology even more.
