"Hitler is Back" is a comedy film filmed in Germany. It was released in October 2015 and has recently caused heated discussions on the domestic Internet. The film tells the story of one day in 2014, Hitler came back, alone, awake in the sun at 8:45 in the morning of this summer. The familiar streets of Berlin are no longer there, there are no cronies around, and the Imperial Chancellery that has disappeared can no longer be returned. What confuses him even more is that Poland still exists, and the current Chancellor of Germany is actually a woman. He began to slowly explore the way of life in modern society, but one after another made jokes. As a result, the TV program producers were caught by accident, and the click rate of the participating program clips on Youtube surged, and various interview invitations came one after another. So, in modern society, Hitler became an entertainment star .

As a time-travel comedy, the overall rhythm of the film is excellent. All kinds of ridiculous drama conflicts, political and historical stalks abound, and even pay homage to the famous ghost and animal fragment of the famous head of state that netizens in the Chinese dynasty are most familiar with. However, behind all this surface, there is a creepy sense of reality. This sense of reality runs through and is gradually exposed in the second half of the film. This is not a pure comedy, but a political satire with a pseudo-documentary style . After the banter, it was like the "Wave" from Germany in 2008, with endless heavy thinking.

The biggest source of this sense of reality is the background of the times. Hitler traveled to the past 2015, which is the present. When this famous historical figure suddenly came to today's society where refugees, religious conflicts, environmental protection and social issues, terrorist attacks, and various ideas clashed violently, a strange and ironic harmony appeared. After so many years, some things have not changed, and history is always strikingly similar. So there was a strange phenomenon. The audience knew at first that this was the real Hitler, but they felt no threat to him who came through. We are just watching him make a fool of himself in modern society, amused by all kinds of embarrassing things.

However, in the middle of the film, we will find that the Internet celebrities and actors are just covering up. Hitler's words and deeds have been acting with his true self. Every action of his is not for entertainment, but because of the special identity packaging, people accept it unsuspectingly. His various views have been inadvertently instigated by him. The shows he attends are getting more serious, and his fans are getting bigger and bigger. Hitler himself also began to gradually break away from the identity of the clown and began to really influence the public. When he spoke, not only the audience in the movie, but also the audience in reality were gradually convinced by him, and were even shocked to realize that many of what he said were so reasonable, and they even wonderfully exposed the essence of many problems today. However, in the end, the old Jewish man recognized him at a glance, Adolf Hitler , the tone suddenly changed, and the audience woke up in a cold sweat. The agent who originally discovered him finally understood his identity, but no one believed him anymore. Whether he was just a parody actor or the real Hitler didn't matter at all.

The lines between reality and fiction have blurred so far, knowing that at the same time that this film was released , Donald Trump, an equally hot star across the Atlantic, was preaching the construction of "a beautiful wall" to keep out all Mexicans , some called him for the new Hitler. Although Trump is not the same as the head of state, the complex social situation today is also different from the past. The most crucial question is whether we really realize the difference and similarity between reality and history.

The most amazing part of the film is the scenes in which Hitler appeared on the street and other public places, many of which were shot on the spot. Not all the extras around him, those with mosaics on their faces are all real passersby . Their intriguing reactions are even more thought-provoking than Hitler in the film.

"People were all around me", "One lady said she loved me and asked me to hug her. Many others expressed extremist thoughts to me, and some even said to me 'Please bring the concentration camps back to Germany' .", "I am terrified."

- Oliver Marsage (played by Hitler)

Luckily it's just a fictional film, and it's fortunate that it was shot by Germans, not actually taking place in Germany. However, it is worth remembering that the protagonist of this film, not Hitler, is not just describing Germany.

At the end of the film, the agent who discovered the truth broke down and charged Hitler with a gun, but the devil's answer was--

"I am part of you, from all of you."
