The following are some of my personal analysis and insights, welcome to discuss together. Only based on season1, season2, fwwm and four episodes of season 3 that have been released so far.
Here are some tips:
1. Two women in the purple room. The first one without eyes should be Josie, and the second one should be Ronette Pulaski.
2. The blue rose when the major briggs face floated past in space. This is the secret code used by gordon cole and his fbi agents (including cooper). For the blue rose case, you can find clues in fwwm.
3. dougie (fake cooper in yellow jacket) thinks there is a problem with one arm. Pay attention to the ring on his arm. The pattern on it is owl cave. This ring is also a very important clue. Teresa, who was killed by Bob, wore this ring before. The agent desmond who was investigating the Teresa incident found the ring and disappeared, and Laura finally wore the ring before his death. Obviously this ring can bring people into the black lodge.
4. Cooper's vomit with long hair. This product is called Garmonbozia, which represents pain and sorrow. Bob and his friends (dwarf, one-armed Mike) love garmonbozia.
5. The long-haired cooper is extremely smart, so Bob will choose to possess him in the second season. The perpetrators are so cool! Later, when Longhair Cooper met with gordon and other fbi agents at the police station after the car accident, he witty imitated Cooper's thumb and smile, which was terrifying.
6. The arm on the tree is turned into by a dwarf. For details, please refer to fire walk with me. The dwarf said: i am the arm. The
important question is here. One-armed Mike told cooper in the black lodge that he was being tricked. The arm on the tree in the black lodge told Cooper that something was wrong. Why is this?
The answer is that cooper was caught in the trap of the long-haired cooper possessed by bob.
According to the rules of the black lodge, after the long-haired cooper possessed by bob returns to the black lodge, the real cooper can return to the real world. So what was supposed to happen was: the long-haired cooper possessed by bob returned to the black lodge, and then the real cooper came out of the hole in the car (bob and cooper were interchanged). But the result is indeed: the innocent dougie was taken into the black lodge and turned into a golden marble, and the real cooper took the place of dougie (dougie and cooper were swapped).
Following this train of thought, some of the doubts in front will be solved for the time being.
In the glass box that appeared in the first act, the play said that no one knew who did it and who sent someone to supervise it. Now we can infer that it was made by the long-haired cooper. The purpose is to make Cooper be blocked when he comes out, so he can only leave the black lodge through the wrong exit.
It is mentioned in the play that dougie was manufactured with purpose and this purpose has been achieved. So this dougie should also belong to one of the traps of the long-haired cooper, in order to complete the dougie cooper exchange, so that the bob (long-haired cooper) can not go back.
Those two people who want to assassinate dougie are likely to have been hired by the long-haired cooper a long time ago. Because according to the plan, after dougie and cooper were swapped, Mike said that he could only live one. So if the two murderers kill the real cooper who has just left the black lodge, then Bob's purpose is achieved. Fortunately, Cooper just bent down to pick up the key.
The rest will be made up sometime later. Finally, a strong suggestion: please go to fwwm (fire walk with me), otherwise a lot of content will be confused even after watching the first and second seasons. For example: what is the relationship between blue rose, ring, mike and bob, the fbi agent Philip Jeffries mentioned repeatedly by gordon and albert. You will understand more than half of these after completing the homework. Also, learn more about the work that major briggs did at the time (mainly through season 2 to slowly understand).
You can watch season3 directly, but you will lose a lot of fun. Then don’t just score it just because you don’t understand it!
