Screenwriting, casting (dogs), and add-ons ruined

At that time, when I went to school, the electronic products at home were locked, and only the famous books on the bookshelf could be hidden behind the practice questions and peeked. Only "Call of the Wilderness" and "Water Margin" have been read several times, so I took time out of my busy schedule and finally arrived at the theater.

After a long time, I can't remember some places, but after watching the movie, I was very disappointed.

1. Casting (dog)? It doesn't match, although I forgot what kind of Buck, but this one is too cute. Although there is a wolf side of fierceness and leadership, it is still not convincing. So, do you have the image of the black wolf? Crazy dancing every time he comes out, what kind of Assassin's Creed Altaïr's belief is the sense of sight? The other dogs are very satisfied! The head dog is so handsome, and the scarred dog recognizes it at a glance.

2. There are wolves playing! Tsk tsk, the white wolf just said you, didn't expect it to be a female wolf? Is this a strong group cp? How do I remember CP was the bitch who taught Buck to sleep in the snow pit?

3. Change the script indiscriminately? My favorite clip is the struggle to become the dog king. The description in the movie is too bland, and the highlight clips are missing. The male protagonist was killed by Indians, and with the great sense of revenge of the wolves, when he saw that he was a crazy white man, he was wiped out. And the Buck here is not miserable at all... Remember the original book seems to have a clip of dog fighting?

4. In a word, this is not the cool article of the difficult growth that became the wolf king in my impression, it is too fairy tale and symbolic.

Forget it, reread the original book tomorrow.

The Call of the Wild quotes

  • John Thornton: This is a map of the Yukon. My son was always reading adventure stories, crazy about the news coming out of the Yukon. Wasn't the gold, he didn't care about that, it was the mountains. He spent all day looking at maps and pictures of the mountains, dreaming about was on the other side, places no one had been, wild places. We could go, you and me, see what's out there. What do you think?

  • John Thornton: [narrates] There's a place in these mountains where a new breed of timber wolf roams, wiser than men or wolf, because of the dog that runs at the head of a pack. Now... they live without fear, raise their young and flourish.
