Mike died of American "spirit"

From two perspectives, this film is both an anti-war film and a reflective film. I think the director wants to express the latter more.

After the war, my father reaped honor. He will correct the wrongly flying American flag, tell others that his son is fighting for American democracy, he will have the fine habit of being a soldier, and he will say that it is absolutely impossible to be killed by his comrades-in-arms. And following a series of investigations in the film, we found that it was in his son's generation. It has been difficult to find similarities. Mike killed a child as a result of the above order. Then he changed. The previous Mike emailed photos of his father, and Mike was proud of being a soldier. But after this incident, Mike became drug-addicted, cold-blooded, and would abuse the prisoners. The same is true of his companions, they will use people as dogs to paralyze themselves. In the war, they gradually lost their humanity and became killers.

When Mike's father learned the truth, he didn't blame the murderer. Still proud of his son, framed his son's photo and wiped it clean. It disappointed him. In the United States today, the director used an upside-down shabby national flag to embed it. As mentioned in the film, the upside down national flag means. The United States is continuing to be rescued!
