Before the 13th and 14th episodes, it is absolutely well-deserved to say that this is a four-star good show. The exquisite painting style, the excellent performance of the seiyuu, the wonderful fighting action, the hiphop-style soundtrack and the elements guide the whole show.
The second half has exploded to a new level starting from episodes 13 and 14. The 14 episodes are the magic of the whole series. I decided to give a five-star praise for this episode alone, and I want to be a fan of Shinichiro Watanabe. And I really like the three protagonists this time, they all live pure and aboveboard. There is no twisted emotional entanglement in the whole episode, the plot development and characters are casual and hearty, direct, energetic, calm and humorous. Wuhuan and Ren can't help but remind me of Sakuragi Huadao and Rukawa Feng in Daai "Slam Dunk". One is warm and direct and never gives up, the other is calm and pure, and can't help but feel deja vu. The characters that moved me are all like this.
What shocked me the most was the 14th episode. No illusions were too bitter, but the tenacious vitality like weeds pulled me back from the gate of hell for the second time. There are often such scenes in TV dramas. The patient is in a coma on the hospital bed. If he can't wake up, he has to rely on his desire to survive, and Wuhuan is the kind of low-level character who can't kill him as long as he doesn't want to die, but he has more precious freedom than anyone else. And betrayed once, but still choose to believe and practice in order to promise. Husband also.
From time to time, other big-name seiyuu came to make a cameo appearance in the whole episode. Although it was short-lived, they all left an impressive and vivid supporting role.
In the last episode, Jin literally rose to become a male god. The ending is touching, but not sad. It's good. I like the arrangement of Shinichiro Watanabe. We meet each other for a while, maybe we won't see each other again, but we won't forget each other.
Really a good show. Although it is an old fan more than ten years ago, it is not outdated at all, really not outdated at all. A good thing is a classic. I'm going to watch it again.
