Boston Legal

Just finished watching season 1, 17 episodes, another result of my overeating. Unexpectedly, in the last episode of this season, the screenwriter gave us the first case that the hero Alan lost. This gold medal lawyer who has won countless not guilty verdicts for clients who are innocent or even guilty of homicide with his wisdom, cunning, humor, self-confidence and impassioned closing speech by various legal and illegal means. Lost a lawsuit for the first time. An innocent black guy was wrongly convicted in Tennessee, where the death penalty is rampant. The final frame of the camera is the scene of the client's powerless struggle at the execution scene, and all this happened in front of defense lawyer Alan. This is the most shocking episode of the first season. It is the most profound, most thought-provoking, meaning of law and punishment in this season, and it is also the most tearful episode.
My head hurts a bit today, I wanted to write about BL well. Let’s list a few keywords for now. If you have time, come one by one, and do a long state like Alan:)
1. Alan shore (he is the first and most important keywords, a very charming middle-aged short fat man, Synonymous with masculine glamour)
2. Denny Crane (balcony sipping life every episode is his classic moment, cute even endearing old urchin, tender lead)
3. Shirley Schimit (can be without all the other young beauties, but Can't live without her, because "old" is not scary for some women at all, synonymous with feminine charm)
4. Friendship
5. Democracy, freedom, human rights
6. Justice
7. Faith
8. American thinking (simple, direct , realistic, humorous, and sometimes stodgy and silly)
to be continued...

Boston Legal quotes

  • Denny Crane: It's a good feeling, you know, to shoot a bad guy. Something you Democrats would never understand. Americans... we're homesteaders, we want a safe home, keep the money we make, and shoot bad guys.

  • [both with a cigar in an ear]

Denny Crane: We look good together.

    Alan Shore: Yes, we do.
