Episode 1

Classic balcony night talk.

ALAN's lawsuit on the second day defended a black child because the casting company did not let the black child play the classic American child character Annie. Her mother thought it was racial discrimination, so she decided to seek a lawyer to file a lawsuit. DENNY asked if he could win, and ALAN said maybe not. He searched all the information he could find, but there was no direct evidence that the other party was suspected of racial discrimination. Then DENNY said the above sentence.

The next day, in the case of the lawsuit, seeing that the end was a foregone conclusion, a black priest entered the courtroom and delivered a speech. He took it to the next level, and it wasn't just that black kids couldn't play the role of Annie, it was that black kids were disqualified from playing classic American animated characters. Racial equality has always been said, but have you ever seen a black spiderman or a black iron man, don't always say tomorrow, just today, today, give us a black Annie.

After speaking, everyone stood up and applauded, and finally won the case. Before the pastor left, he said to ALAN that this is the rabbit.

The so-called "law of procedure or the rabbit in life", in this case, means that when something might not make sense on that dimension, moving up one dimension might make sense. Rabbits are the solution.

There is another case going on at the same time in this episode. The mother wants to take the child to work across continents, but the father refuses to let him. The father doesn’t care about the child and rarely looks after the child, but he doesn’t want the child to leave with the mother, so the mother seeks a lawyer , wishing they could legally take their children away from work. After the first trial, the father won. The judge believed that the mother could not find a job in this state and went to another state. This behavior is not conducive to family harmony. This is not the father's fault, although the father is indeed a negligent father.

In order to catch the father's handle, DENNY found a prostitute to seduce the man in the restaurant, then took pictures, and then blackmailed him, either letting the child and the mother go, or publishing these candid photos. The man chose the former, so the children could leave with the mother who loved them and live a good life.

Episode 4

The main contradiction in this episode is that one is a lawyer who is not believed because he is in a mental hospital; the other is how lawyers should choose when facing professionalism and ethics; the third is whether to do anything to win, including Deliberately set up a set to understand each other's weaknesses in order to blackmail each other.

ALAN hasn't let any women into his heart, maybe until season 4?

Episode 6 can't be played I don't know why

Episode 7

This episode also tells a conflicting story, not a conflict defending the bad guys, but a different one. A committed a crime before and rehabilitated, but he couldn't find a good job, so he went to robbery, was shot during the robbery, and is now in the hospital. If the warhead is taken out, he will face 30 years in prison because of his criminal record; if he doesn't want to go to jail, the only way is not to take out the warhead, but it may be life-threatening. A hopes that a lawyer will help him file a lawsuit, not a lawsuit involving warheads. The lawyer was very contradictory, but in the end he respected the client's wishes and helped him fight the lawsuit. Later, A couldn't stand the need to take out the bullet, and the lawyer took him to a veterinarian recommended by ALAN for an operation. He was not admitted to the hospital, and his life was not in danger. complete.

Another story is interspersed in it. In the US court, the judge plays a very important role. If he has an opinion on the client, 80% of the case will be lost. ALAN helped a bad landlord to file a lawsuit, and the verdict was that the bad landlord hung a bad landlord sign in the block and paraded for 4 hours. During the process, the landlord was attacked, concussion, and many stitches. The judge disagreed, arguing that the landlord did it on purpose. ALAN was very angry and wanted to sue the judge. After the boss of the firm knew about it, he stopped the accusation because he did not want the firm to be an enemy of this famous justice. ALAN changed his method. Instead of confrontation, he adopted an incentive policy. First, he pointed out that the judge likes to torture people because he was controlled by his mother when he was a child. Then he patted his wound and said that he knew that he had the ability to get out of this predicament and overcome his own thinking. The desire to torture others, then point out that the person has suffered a lot, and let him return to a normal life. success.

There is one more thing in the middle. DENNY was arrested for visiting prostitutes. In short, he encountered law enforcement fishing. Then ALAN sat with him as his lawyer, facing the judge, and told why this happened. The judge asked you why you couldn't control your prostitution on the street? ALAN told him that, in fact, it was because of the Red Sox. The victory or defeat of the Red Sox affected the nerves of most Americans and made them make a lot of crazy actions, which was also an extension of this behavior. End home.

Thoughts on this episode: Do what you should do well first. Then you will find that in many cases, doing what you should do well does not mean that you are doing it right, because right and wrong have different evaluation criteria from different angles. Then you will find that even if you can't choose, you still have to make a choice in many cases. You have to choose a position, whether this position is the position you prefer or not, and it is even possible that you do not know which position you prefer. In the end, no matter what, you have to face yourself, maybe in every glass of wine, in every glance, maybe you don't need to explain, you can even be silent forever, but you can't escape.
