I began to think that Alan has the ability to attract people who are "deep in mud", trouble man. I
remember watching PB at that time , there is an episode that says that Michael has a kind of neuroticism (I forgot), which makes him unable to turn a blind eye to the misfortune around him. I think Alan is starting to be a bit like Michael, he encounters these sad little people, Catherine, "weird" Hand", "Dwarf" killer, etc., always carry them on his body. But I also think that it is also because of his constant help that they keep getting deeper and deeper in the mud. Because they think Alan will Save them all the time, he won't let them die.
So, Alan is actually hurting them to some extent, right?
