When I saw the early stages of the film, I suddenly had a special feeling, isn't this "The Shawshank Redemption"? A slick and nimble prisoner wins over the guards, gets treatment that the average prisoner doesn't...just the same...then the story goes the way of a typical WWII movie, the Germans are bad in general . All in all, the Jews are very pitiful... The protagonist did wrong and did the right thing. Anyway, he never died, and people can't force many things in order to survive... Then what? how is it? I still haven't seen any new breakthroughs in this type of film. It's just a matter of words, but this film incorporates a little "Shawshank" factor in it...
Looking back, since "Shawshank" is well received One, the United States is a victorious country in World War II, so it is not surprising that this film can win an Oscar for best foreign language film, but I feel that Oscar seems to be less and less my cup of tea...
