I have seen many World War II films, no matter what it is, in which German soldiers are either killed or wounded, or surrendered, or tough. Few films have exaggerated the humanity of German soldiers as much as Die Fälscher. They want money, they want to think about the future, and they're human beings. They also want to buy their lives with money!

The stories in the concentration camps always reflect the complex human nature, always the essence. There are choices, there are no choices.
