Ah Cheng thank you for reading this passage and accumulating Emotions poured out. I watched the movie twice in a row, and I didn't know how to read your reviews until I noticed many details and the director's good intentions.
This is the first time I want to watch a movie twice and maybe it's not enough.
The light story line has strong emotions. The whole story is about the girl's melancholy, the doubts that we may only pass a second or two when we walk around the world. But the director uses his poetic lens to bring this wonderful and unsolved problem to us, so that people like us can have the opportunity to experience the delicateness of their inner world.
I often wonder what the point of a director is. It has always been clear that it is definitely not the box office, but it is hard to find the real direction.
Thank you. These few sentences make me seem to see a direction. Maybe condensing my temperament into the style of the film and developing the story with my own thoughts are the most meaningful of the director himself.
Regarding the film, I have no intention of comparing Veronica or assessing who is the soul and who is more realistic.
Our lives are endowed with different carriers, and every tiny choice accumulates into our very different lives. I think this is the charm of life. And if one of thousands of people is similar to me, I think it is a miracle given by life. Persistence or not can let the story of life continue and it is a blessing for every independent individual to have the freedom to choose. Either or dying is a kind of home to peace or falling in love. How delicate it feels when two different lives meet without knowing it and then drift apart, and suddenly one day discover that maybe another similar soul still exists in the world.
The whole film is a poem of life.
