That's my first impression after watching this movie. When I saw the title, I thought it was an erotic movie. But as the plot unfolded, I realized that this is a romance film with romantic details like Notting Hill. The development of the plot is always tepid, although not ups and downs, but also reasonable. The complex inner activities of the male protagonist are still exposed from time to time in the words and behaviors he tries to conceal. Perhaps this is the true spiritual monologue of middle-class men.
The part about dance in the film is very attractive, as if dance is the embodiment of beauty. Rumba, Cha Cha, and National Standard, although the dances are different, all bring the audience a close experience of the beauty of dance.
The ending of the film is the usual comedy ending in Hollywood. Perhaps this ending is more able to cater to American tastes. But I always feel that there is something wrong with this ending. It is too perfect to be unreal. When will our life be perfect? A little regret is actually the norm in life.
