Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Memories We'll Never Go Back

I read Diary of a Wimpy Kid with a comedy mentality. The various experiences of the protagonist in the play may be everything that everyone has to experience in childhood, and it seems that they must go through stages in their growth. But after reading it, I found that the comedy is less and less, and more is thinking and silence. Similarly, childhood life should be happy and flawless, not as complicated as in adult society. However, it may be human nature, we always value and care so much about many things. It seems a little ridiculous now that what we once cared about or always valued. Because we only know now that friends are so important and happiness is so important.
