Darkness, means the unknown, means everything possible. The translation of darkness here is more suitable than dark. Horror movies are a powerful tool for exploring human nature and the human heart. In all excellent horror films, a traditional material is claustrophobic space and psychological depression, such as "The Chainsaw" and "The Shining"; another important theme is evil and religion, that is, related to ghosts, such as "The Exorcist" and "The Exorcist". The Master Key and Rosemary's Baby. Gore scenes and sound effects are all important performance tools; but a good thriller must give you psychological fear, not just sensory stimulation. Nothing is richer than the human heart, nothing is more powerful than the imagination. No urgent escape film can compare to you being surrounded by a group of villains; no dangerous disaster film can compare to an unfortunate person persecuted by the system; no powerful psychological thriller can compare to a wizard's feelings towards you hint.
The greatness of this film lies in the in-depth portrayal of a horror material and its soul: people are in a completely dark place, an unknowable environment, an unknowable space range, an unknowable time; the scariest point, an unknowable monster , the number of them is not known; the only thing known is the danger. Desperate isn't it? Fortunately, the unknowable and the arrangement of God is Allah. The only thing that cannot be given up is hope.
This time, the deeper feeling is that of sacrifice. There are noble sacrifices, which attract enemy attacks in order to cover the escape of friends; there are despicable sacrifices, which betray their own kind in exchange for alms from powerful evil forces; there are ignorant sacrifices, which are not calm and are sacrificed in vain. There are even more evil sacrifices, which sacrifice the same kind in fear of unknown ghosts and gods. In the two "Dark Invasion", only one person escaped in the end, and there were other sacrifices behind them.
Human sacrifice is only for the integrity of one's own life.
One day, everyone will sacrifice; for another to escape.
