The film is very well done, basically continuing the style and structure of the previous work. Although there is no dark atmosphere of animalism and despair, and more highlights are the highlights of human nature, it is still a relatively successful sequel.
In the process of watching the film, I was quite impressed by several points:
1. The conversation between the black-haired female rescue team member and the captain and her boyfriend when she was trapped in the rock pile. I fell in love with this character all of a sudden, and felt a little sad thinking about her ultimate fate.
2. The boyfriend of the black-haired female rescue team member exchanged his life for his girlfriend's life, and perished with the female monster, fulfilling his promise.
3. Juno appeared on the stage like a god of war, and his spirit was soaring to the sky, which made my mood rise all of a sudden.
4. Save one life or send two lives? At an extreme moment, the policewoman cut off the old sheriff's wrist with a mountaineering pick. People's desire to survive is both strong and evil; cruel and helpless.
4. At the end of the film, Sarah ignored the surrounding monsters, stood up slowly, roared up to the sky, and covered the policewoman to escape. Against the background of the soundtrack, a heroic and chilling visual effect was produced. That moment was very shocking and completed her A beautiful return from magic to humanity.
Personally, I don’t think there will be any more sequels to this film. The fate of the main characters has been fixed. Although the editor and director habitually designed an open ending at the end of the film, it is just out of habit. This film is the absolute brightest visual horror masterpiece in recent times. After the bloody killing full of violent madness, it is a concentrated expression of the director's feminism. Sarah and Juno have changed from friends to enemies, and from enemies to friends, and also brought Viewers have some warm consolation. Recommended for fans of this genre, you won't be disappointed.
