(March 15, 2010) After
watching "Death Video 2", a long-overlooked old-fashioned principle came to mind - the greater the expectation, the greater the loss. With this mentality, watch "Darkness Invasion 2".
I especially like the ending of "Invasion of the Darkness 1", it doesn't tell you the outcome of the heroine's survival, the light in the dark was originally constructed by the heroine, very "beautiful", even if she can't escape this hell, I think, Originally, the director didn't think that he had to make a sequel, but he didn't expect that the series 1 would become a hit at the box office and win an award.
The result of caution is that it does not make much breakthrough on the basis of "Dark Invasion 1", which can be regarded as fulfilling the minimum expectations of fans, the direction is not deviated, and the harmony does not hurt feelings. But thinking about it carefully, the harsh environment of the cave did not make a good foreshadowing in "Darkness Invasion 2". Maybe the director felt that he had already explained it very clearly in 1. There is no need to add superfluous words and waste the time of film and fans, but to do I think it may be better to extend the point; in addition, it may be due to the above reasons, the lethality of these monsters seems to be weakened compared to 1, but the attack power of human beings is greatly enhanced (P.S.: This is still a performance of women such a powerful horror film).
The problem is so, but it still does not prevent it from becoming a refreshing horror film. In less than an hour and a half, I can often be scared a few times, especially the monster's Toilet, and the three women in the half hour after the end. The fight against monsters is the highlight of 2.
The ending is clear enough this time. Series 3 must be shot, but I don’t expect it so much anymore, that’s for sure.
