Life has an aftertaste

When I was discussing school selection with a study abroad consultant, he suggested that I choose NYU. I said that New York is too noisy, the rhythm is too fast, and the prices are too high; besides, NYU is a school without Campus, walking through the streets to various teaching buildings, not like the one I thought was holding a book and carrying a backpack, The atmosphere of walking slowly and thinking under the avenues of the campus. The consultant is a Taiwanese, gentle and organized. He said that he read books in New York. He really likes this city, which is full of splendor.

"Isn't psychology about people? Then you should go to a place like New York."
He was right. I often put myself in a position where I want to stay away from the anxious tone of modern society, but if I really want to learn , isn't this anxiety the thing I should study the most?

Back to New York, I love you. After reading it, I understand more clearly that although it is busy and noisy, the attitude of New York in the center of the world is even more interesting and full of human touch.

The bickering old couple, the typical New Yorker's fast-talking, ironic, self-deprecating dialogue, although the beautiful moment was disturbed by the reckless young man, the noisy cuteness was undoubtedly revealed without being disturbed at all.
Young people in love are secretly in love, infatuated, passionate, and so on.

All wishes, desires, small thoughts, relief and memories form such a rich aftertaste. Life has an aftertaste, and the joys and sorrows are known to each other. However, in the details, life shows a rich, vigorous and irresistible seductive brilliance.

New York, I Love You quotes

  • Camille: Hey, David, it's Camille. You know, when Dostoevsky was writing The Gambler, he signed a contract with his publisher saying that he would finish it in twenty-six days, and he did it, but he had the help of this young stenographer. This girl, she... she stayed with him and she helped him. And... afterwards they actually got married. Ha, isn't that cool? That's how he met his wife. Anyway I found this story in the preface for Crime and Punishment so I was thinking that... and, this would have to be between you and me, but... I was thinking that I could read the books and tell you what's going on and that way you could just focus on your music. But only if you're comfortable with this, and if you're not then you can just forget it, and you can quit, but if you are... then open this door.

    David: Open... this door?

[crawls to his front door and opens it]

    Camille: Okay, a deal's a deal.

David: Does this mean we're getting married?

Camille: I have a lot of reading to do...

    Camille: Hi, I'm Camille.

    David: Hi, I'm David.

  • Writer: [after lighting her cigarette] We share a flame, thousands of tiny molecules are heating up right now, they're penetrating our brain. Alright, they're stimulating our sexual desire. I mean, I don't know about you, but I find that shit very romantic. And you know, I'm so glad you walked over here because now I can feel a little bit more comfortable to tell you that I happen to be on the forefront of men able to find and locate a woman's G-spot, and I could - I could do that for you.

Call Girl: [Sarcastically] That's really generous of you, thank you.

Writer: Well, it's my pleasure. Well. It's your pleasure.

Call Girl: And what makes you think I haven't located it yet?

Writer: Uh, the way you hold the cigarette. It's a little high and tight. Y'know what you have to do, is you have to lower it. You have to bring it all the way down, in there, so it just sits. Comfortably. Y'know if it's high and tight like that, the whole body gets restricted and the... plexus? Gets closed off. Y'know and the vagina gets locked.
